ACADEMIC PROGRAM

( 3-5 years ) CREATIVE MOVEMENT 50 min

Attendance at this level is optional once or twice a week.

The goal of teaching in this category is to support and develop a sense of movement, creativity, and imagination.

Children are introduced to basic movement principles through play.

In a fun way, we gradually introduce them to the basics of ballet terminology.

We develop their sense of time, space, rhythm, and music.

We help them better understand their own bodies.

We aim to develop their motor skills, strength, endurance, flexibility, and, last but not least, teach them proper posture.

All of this is complemented by engaging explanations and rhythmic, often sung musical accompaniment.

(6-8 years) PRE BALLET 60 min

Attendance at this level is optional once or twice a week.

The goal of teaching in this category is to continue systematically developing coordination, strength, and flexibility.

We emphasize the development of movement memory.

Many basic elements are combined into small phrases and variations.

We also focus on introducing students to etiquette and behavior in ballet classes.

The structure of lessons and the musical accompaniment (mostly piano) more closely resemble classical ballet training.

At this level, we also emphasize concentration and discipline.

Children will learn basic ballet positions and exercises at the barre.

The goal is to prepare students in all aspects for studying demanding ballet techniques.

CLASSICAL BALLET I (7+ years) 75 min

Age in this category is for reference only. Children are placed based not only on age but also on their abilities and overall physical and mental maturity.

Mandatory attendance at this level is twice a week.

At this level, students learn the fundamentals of classical ballet technique at the barre and later in the center.

They will learn the French terminology that defines all ballet elements.

Besides instilling fundamental ballet techniques, we continue to develop their flexibility and strength. We further improve their coordination, spatial awareness, and musicality.

Students are expected to fully focus on the elements being taught.

CLASSICAL BALLET II (9+) 75 min

Age is only indicative. Children are placed in this category based on proven knowledge of basic ballet techniques and physical readiness for studying more advanced ballet elements.

Placement in this category is decided by the school director in cooperation with the respective teachers at the end of the school year.

Students are also encouraged to attend lower-level classes (free of charge) to refine and deepen their knowledge of basic ballet techniques, improve flexibility (BF classes), and take modern dance classes.

The goal is to gradually introduce more challenging classical ballet technique elements. All barre exercises are transferred to the center.

CLASSICAL BALLET III (11+) 75 min

Age is only indicative, as noted above.

Placement and other details as above.

This level is attended by advanced students and conservatory students who have solidly mastered the fundamental ballet elements and are already technically proficient.

The goal is to teach students how to work with their bodies correctly and healthily while refining and perfecting classical dance technique.

At this level, pointe technique is introduced.

The goal is to master advanced ballet technique and repertoire through stable and strong technique.

CLASSICAL BALLET IV (13+) 75 min

A minimum of three classes per week or more.

This level is for highly advanced students with proven strong technical proficiency and preparedness.

The goal is to deepen their technical and artistic skills.

Pointe work may be included at the teacher’s discretion.

To be placed in this group, students must have a solid knowledge of all classical elements, as the class pace is fast and professionally structured, including classical variations training.

CLASSICAL BALLET V (14+)

These are lessons for older students with basic to intermediate ballet technique.

With properly structured and professionally led lessons, students refine their technical skills while developing a healthy body and mind.

Attendance of at least twice a week or more is recommended.

CLASSICAL BALLET VI (15+)

These lessons are for students with advanced ballet technique.

The classes are conducted at a faster pace, aiming for technical and artistic virtuosity.

Lessons are primarily conducted on pointe.

BODY FORM

Bodyform is a unique method that significantly improves dancers’ physical abilities and flexibility. It was developed by modifying the preparatory training of junior rhythmic gymnastics representatives and consists of approximately 50 exercises performed with regularly phrased music. The method is adapted to classical dance training and divided into six thematic areas:

  1. Stretching and warm-up
  2. Feet and arches
  3. Hip turnout
  4. Spine
  5. Maximum to extreme flexibility (range of motion)
  6. Jumps

The entire lesson is structured to evenly engage all muscles, tendons, joints, and the spine. The method is highly effective and beneficial for professional dancers but is also recommended for all levels, especially beginners.

After an introductory interview, we accept beginner students of all ages, who, after completing a certain number of Bodyform lessons, may be placed in a slightly more advanced group according to their age and skills.

Bodyform is offered for both children and adults.
